As the Managing Director and founding member of SQAS-SA, Hein Crocker leads the company’s daily operations and overall growth.
He has more than 20 years of experience in Fleet Management Services and has built a strong reputation for leadership, innovation, and delivering practical solutions for customers.
Hein began his career as a police officer and holds a National Diploma in Police Science. He reached the rank of Lieutenant before leaving the police force in 1989.
Before starting SQAS-SA, Hein created and managed Dreamworks Technologies, a company focused on Fuel Management solutions. Under his leadership, the company helped customers save millions of rands by improving fuel efficiency. Later he led the Intelligent Fuel Management division at Avis Fleet.
Warren Whiteley

Warren Whiteley is a respected South African rugby leader with an impressive career at both provincial and international level. Known for his leadership, dedication, and commitment to excellence, Warren has represented the South African Sevens team, the Springboks, and the Emirates Lions.
During his time with the Lions, Warren played a key role in the team’s success and served as captain, helping guide the team to three consecutive Super Rugby finals between 2016 and 2018. His leadership qualities and consistent performances earned him the honour of being named the 58th Springbok captain in 2017.
Beyond his achievements on the field, Warren continues to contribute to the rugby community through leadership and player representation. He has served as President of the South African Rugby Players’ Association (SARPA), supporting the interests and development of professional rugby players.
Peter Proctor
Sales and Customer Care
Peter brings extensive experience in the fuel industry, with expertise in fuel and lubricant sales, payment solutions, fuel automation, and fuel management.
During his time at Shell, Peter was responsible for managing the diesel and alliance card business, overseeing operations across Southern Africa. He later joined Caltex, where he led the card and payment solutions division, including sales and marketing activities. During this time, he helped develop fuel card partnerships with major banking institutions.
Peter also worked with Avis Fleet Services as an agent, where he provided fuel management solutions to the transport sector. His broad industry knowledge and experience continue to support SQAS-SA’s commitment to delivering effective and innovative solutions.
